Two actions in the district court for Washington county, consolidated for trial and heard together on appeal, to recover for injuries sustained by plaintiffs while passengers in the auto of defendant. The cases were tried before Alfred P. Stolberg, Judge, and a jury. A verdict of $20,000 was returned for plaintiff Stella E. Cofran and one of $8,500 for plaintiff Elizabeth Brennan. Upon defendants alternative motion for judgment or a new trial in each case, the court granted the motion for judgment, and plaintiffs separately appealed from the judgments entered.
